First of all, I have to say that I would like to know all the countries in the world. Unfortunately, I have to choose one in particular to write this article and i'm going to choose Algeria.
A few months ago, I invited some friends to come over and have a nice diner at my place. I have to admit that i m not the best cook in the world. Happily for me, my friend Anais offered me a hand. We had the idea to cook a couscous together. This decision didnt came out of the blue, we both have Algerian roots. Her mum was born there and my grandfather too. While making this gigantic couscous for 10 people, we had a long talk about this country, what we feel about it, what does it represent for us. Anais has family there and she went a few times. After a bottle of wine, we got excited and we decided to organized a big trip there. I never really got the chance to know my grandfather and this is for me a big chance to discover a part of me that I do not know. I think that the arabic culture is well worth discovering.
We planned to spend one month wandering in Algeria. We are also going to visit her family and eat plenty of good algerian food. I can't wait!

ResponderEliminarHi, Marie!
ResponderEliminarAlgerian food and culture should be really interesting. I hope you have a great time when you travel to Algeria.
Algerian food. Nice shout. My housemate went to Morocco recently and he said the food was fantastic, and normally he's a really fussy eater.
ResponderEliminarI bet in France there are lots of Algerian restaurants, aren't there?
